Quit the Bad Weight Loss Habits Today

If you’re someone who is in a constant battle with their weight, then you are probably well acquainted with every “diet” out there. From detoxifications teas, the paleo diet, and just straight Veganism, it seems as if everyone knows the cure to weight gain and yet here you are still battling! What gives? Well if you’re finally ready to shed those pounds for good, it won’t be in the form of the latest diet trend. No, in fact, in order to really keep the pounds off you’re going to have to follow these steps:

Avoid Restricting Certain Foods – If you’re an absolute lover of ice cream, don’t force yourself to quit it cold turkey. Banning foods will only cause you to crave them even more.

Moderation is key here, so instead of eating the whole carton of ice cream, grab a bowl and about a scoop or two at most!
Don’t Do Crash Diets – They don’t work in the long run! Sure, you might lose those 10 pounds for your sister’s wedding at the end of 2 weeks, but you’ll be left with a slower metabolism, and you will definitely see those 10 pounds show back up on your scale when you weigh yourself after going back to your regular diet.


Get Some Sleep, Sleep, and More Sleep – If you aren’t sleeping on the right schedule your body cues will be completely out of wack. You’ll find yourself eating more to stay awake, or relying on binge drinking some coffee!
